Masculinities in Israel - HBS Tel Aviv, was proud to collaborate with the Family Studies school at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, in an intensive conference and training program on the subject of “Masculinities in Israel”, targeting academia, professionals and practitioners in training. The event hosted various speakers – researchers, experts and therapists, all immersed in the subject of masculinities, contributing their knowledge and expertise on the subject.
During an intensive 2-days session, participants explored the multi-faceted theme of Masculinities, as those translate in the Israeli reality. The event included screening of the project’s short video series and was well received by the participants, opening discussions regarding their role in advancing gender equality through a deeper understanding of the subject. The lectures included themes such as men’s psychology and therapy, adolescent education, and gender relations in business environments, tapping into the materials participants are expected to meet later in their professional path.
