The city of Lod found itself at the heart of the violent aggression of May 2021. Through documented interviews, the article outlines six themes through which the traumatic events were reflected in the lives of the women of Lod and their families.

Who is the Israeli man? What are his perceptions and views regarding gender issues? In what way, in his opinion, should household and childcare chores be divided between couples? To answer these questions, we conducted a research aimed at characterizing masculinities in Israel. We carried out an online survey among 506 men, 405 Jews and 101 Arabs, constituting a representative sample of Israeli men aged 18 and older.

מיהו הגבר הישראלי? מהן עמדותיו ותפיסותיו בסוגיות מגדריות? באיזה אופן, לדעתו, צריכות להתחלק מטלות הבית והטיפול בילדים בין בני הזוג? על מנת לענות על שאלות אלה ערכנו מחקר שמטרתו למאפיין את הגבריות בישראל. ביצענו סקר מקוון בקרב 506 גברים, 405 יהודים ו-101 ערבים, המהווים מדגם מייצג של הגברים בישראל בגיל 18 ומעלה.
