Invitation to the Böll Talks event at Radical House

Böll Talks” Returned to Town with a Celebration of the Big Blue - also celebrating our new ecology & sustainability program coordinator, Amira Arraf.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation, in collaboration with Radical House, hosted a unique event dedicated to the ocean and the launch of the Hebrew translation of OCEAN – The Last Wilderness by Sir David Attenborough. The event also marked Attenborough’s 100th birthday, celebrated on May 8.

Participants watched the acclaimed film OCEAN, enjoyed a series of short lectures, and immersed themselves in a musical experience inspired by both the book and the film. The evening brought together environmental enthusiasts, culture lovers, and members of the wider public for an inspiring exploration of the world’s oceans and their importance for the future of our planet.

The opening remarks on behalf of the hbs were made by Amira Arraf, who has entered her new position as ecology & sustainability program coordinator earlier this year.

Happy birthday Sir David, welcome Amira!
