Dr. Sharon Haleva-Amir is a faculty member in the School of Communication, Bar Ilan University. Her interdisciplinary education in Information Science, Political Science, Communication and Law enables an in-depth look on technologically-related social phenomena. Sharon’s research aims to understand the ways in which technology impacts the parliamentary work and the political practices of MKs in the 21st century. She has gained a high level of expertise around the topic and was the first scholar to study Israeli e-Politics. Sharon was a research fellow in Haifa Center of Law and Technology (HCLT) and Tilburg Institute of Law, Technology and Society (TILT). She has won a few excellence scholarships, won a ‘best paper award’ and published in high ranking journals.
