Dr. Talia Fried is a cultural anthropologist and post-doctoral fellow at the School of Education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and Visting Research Fellow in the Sociology and Anthropology Department of Hebrew University. Her research fields are Science and Technology Studies (STS), waste studies, and anthropology of neurodivergence and mental health. Her doctoral dissertation, based on an ethnography of the world of household waste treatment in Israel, won the Max Gluckman Prize for the best doctoral dissertation of the Israeli Anthropological Association (2022).
