The Heinrich Boell Stiftung (HBS) is the German green foundation affiliated with the German Greens Party (Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen). All major political parties in Germany are affiliated with a foundation, which, though independent, is affiliated with them. These foundations are non-profit organizations funded by the German government. The Heinrich Böll Stiftung is an intellectually open, civic organization.
The foundation’s headquarters are located in Berlin with a staff of about 180 people. Internationally the foundation operates 33 offices, and collaborates with project partners in about 60 countries altogether.

In cooperation with our local partners, hbs Tel Aviv facilitates workshops and conferences, trainings, publications and research to promote international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
